This piece came from a conversation about climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and taking on something that felt deeply personal and challenging. The journey moves through five distinct ecological zones, each with its own landscape and life.

The layers at the bottom and the hands reaching upwards came from that feeling of moving through each stage changing as you climb, and continuing to reach for what’s ahead.
