Unlike the other pieces, this one didn’t begin with a single conversation. It came from bringing together symbols and fragments that have appeared across different works.
The reaching hands return from the mountain landscape, the bird carries protection, and the border repeats Yaz (ⵣ), a letter from the ancient Tifinagh alphabet representing the “free man.” Flowers and small suns weave through the composition, bringing these different references together.
As a puzzle, its fragments from different places and stories, pieced together to make something new.
